Tell us about your property

Complete a quick form covering the essentials — service required, property type, what's currently on site, your timeline and your contact details. The form branches based on your situation: replacement, survey or repair.

  • Takes around 2 minutes to complete
  • No obligation at any stage, ever
  • Residential and commercial pathways
  • Emergency overflow? Flagged and routed immediately
Tip: Have your postcode and a rough idea of the property's current system to hand (e.g. "old concrete tank", "treatment plant", "I don't know"). We can work with any of those answers.

We match you with a verified specialist

Within one working day, we match your enquiry with a verified UK specialist who covers your postcode and has direct experience with your property type. You deal with one company from that point on.

  • Vetted and insured partners only
  • Matched by location, property type and service need
  • Coverage across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Emergency calls routed immediately, 24/7
How we vet: every partner evidences trade insurance, waste-carrier licence (where applicable), competent-persons scheme registration, recent references and current-standards compliance. We audit periodically.
03

Survey & assessment

For replacement or new-install work, your matched specialist visits the property. Inspection covers soil, access, drainage-field suitability and 2020 General Binding Rules compliance. Typical visit: 60–90 minutes on site.

  • Soil porosity and drainage-field feasibility
  • Access review for excavator and tanker
  • Compliance check against 2020 GBR
  • Capacity sizing for bedrooms / peak load
  • Photos and measurements recorded for the quote
Standalone surveys: If you've booked a compliance-only survey (for sale or purchase), the output is a solicitor-ready PDF report within 3–7 working days. Priority slots available for exchange-pending transactions.

Fixed, clear written quote

Following the survey, you receive a clear written quote covering the recommended system, groundworks, installation, commissioning and handover. Itemised, VAT shown, timeline agreed.

  • Itemised costs — tank, groundworks, install, reinstatement
  • Clear timeline and scheduling options
  • Permit and building-regs fees included where applicable
  • Compliance documentation scope listed
  • Valid for 30 days — no pressure to decide on the spot
If your budget doesn't stretch: we can rescope with you — phased works, alternative system type, or a lower-specification tank. We'd rather you walk away informed than oversold.
05

Installation & commissioning

When you're ready to proceed, installation is scheduled at a time that suits. Typical domestic works run 3–5 days on site. Commercial sites are scheduled to minimise operational disruption.

  • Typical domestic install: 3–5 working days on site
  • Commercial: scheduled around peak and quiet periods
  • Full handover pack and compliance certification
  • Building regs sign-off where applicable
  • 15–25 year structural warranty on tank / plant
Can I stay in the house? Yes — foul drainage is typically unavailable for 1–3 hours at a time during pipework cut-overs, but you won't need to decant. Your specialist agrees cut-over windows with you in advance.

Built for compliance

The whole process is regulation-led

Three compliance frameworks govern what we do — every matched specialist works to all three.

2020 General Binding Rules

Since Jan 2020: discharge must be via a drainage field (septic tank) or certified treatment plant. Fines up to £100,000 for breach.

Building Regulations Part H

Covers drainage and waste disposal. All installations meeting Part H are notified and signed off via a competent-persons scheme.

EA / SEPA / NIEA permits

Treatment-plant discharges to watercourse require an Environment Agency permit (or SEPA / NIEA equivalent). We handle the submission.

Process FAQs

Common questions about our process

Is there any cost to enquire?
No. Enquiries, qualifying calls and initial matching are free. Charges only begin when you book a specific service — a survey, a repair visit or an installation quote visit. All fees are confirmed before any visit takes place.
Can I speak to someone before committing?
Yes. After submitting the form, a qualifying call is arranged within the hour in working hours (or first thing the next morning). Before booking a site visit you'll have spoken to a human and agreed scope and fee in writing.
What if I don't like the quote?
Walk away. There's no obligation, no pressure, no retention tactics. Many homeowners use a survey report to get alternative quotes from other contractors — that's fine, the report is yours. Around 30% of survey outputs don't convert to installs; we're comfortable with that.
What happens if the surveyor identifies something major?
You'll be told verbally on the day, and it will be written up clearly in the report with a budget range. If the remedy is beyond what you'd expected, the specialist will discuss options — phased works, alternative system types, or walking away entirely.
Do you share my details with multiple companies?
No. We match you with one specialist partner who takes the job through to completion. You're not a lead sold to several contractors — you have a single point of contact and a single written quote.
